Introducing Bob ♂
- Tuesday 19th January
- Bob was brought to us, he had been pulled from a shelter by
Bullies in Need as he was
slated for euthanasia, where they thought he was a senior and so overweight he would be unadoptable.
He is 118 lbs, has hair loss where a choke chain used to live, sores on his feet
and ear infections in both ears.
- Thursday 1st April
- Bob moved on to an amazing new home with people keen to help him in his battle to get to a
healthy weight.
Introducing Blue Ribbon’s “Babybel” ♀
- Sunday 17th January
- Babybel was brought to us, she’s named in honour of the murdered Ottawa Police
Officer Eric Czapnik. She had been part of a seizure of half a dozen dogs from a backyard
breeder where they were being kept in appalling conditions. Even with all she has been through,
she is a really sweet affectionate girl, who just wants to be close.
She is being fostered for ARPH.
- Saturday 27th March
- Babybel went to her new furever home with people who adore her and don't mind that she thinks
she should be a lap dog!
Introducing Jack ♂
- Thursday 31st December
- We collected Jack along with a cat and four kittens from a very dangerous situation,
it is hoped that once his people are in a safer situation we will be able to reunite Jack
with them. At the moment he is not available for adoption.
- Tuesday 19th January
- Jack was returned to his people as the situation was deemed safe for him and his 'Dad'
was regressing and needed him.

She learns quickly and will do anything for a treat! Why not check out
MJ's profile on the BIN website.
- Thursday 23rd April
- MJ went out for a home visit and liked it so much she stayed! Last seen curled up on the
sofa with two new doggy friends watching TV!
Introducing James ♂
- Friday 7th November
-
James came to us from the Montreal SPCA through
Bullies in Need, he had been one of the
300+ dogs rescued in puppy mill busts in the Montreal area in October.
Check out James' profile on the BIN website
- Monday 5th January
-
James is a big goofy boy, who loves to run and play. He can be a bit nervous with
new things but soon learns to be brave. Once he was released by the puppy mill owner he
very quickly had a new family ready to offer him a furever home.
- Friday 16th January
-
Sadly things didn't work out with his new family; unfortunately due to the timing and his
fear of children, not because he had done anything wrong.
- Wednesday 21st January
-
James has finally been neutered so now we can relax a little. It was a little tense with
an unfixed male and an unfixed female under the same roof! Now we don't need to be
so paranoid about crate rotation! :)
- Thursday 29th January
-
Well a handsome boy like James wasn't going to be around for long! He scored
another great new home.
- Tuesday 17th February
-
James really struck it lucky - check out the
website devoted to him - welcomejames.shutterfly.com
Introducing Magnolia ♀
- Sunday 11th January
- Magnolia was pulled by Bullies in Need by a shelter
with space and time limits who were at capacity. She came to us just for a short visit on her
way to her 'real' foster home. She is a really sweet girl, she is a little shy to start, but
soon accepts you and then just wants to cuddle.
- Thursday 14th January
- Magnolia moved on to her 'real' foster home. Why not check out
Magnolia's profile on the BIN website.

fostered for Bullies in Need.

Introducing Sushi ♀
- Monday 20th October
-
Sushi was born on October 20 2007; she was rescued from the Humane Society but her new
person found they were unable to care from her, and she found herself in being surrendered
to FOAP. She is a lively, excitable, energetic girl, who wants to play and be loved. She
likes to stand up and have a cuddle, with her front paws resting on your arm.
- Tuesday 11th November
-
Sushi is a very high energy dog, who needs lots of love and attention. She moved on to another
foster home, with a person who walks 5 times a day starting at 4am, and who is able to give
her far more one on one time. We had grown very fond of her and were very sad to see her go.
Introducing Chrysler ♀
- Friday 25th July
- Chrysler was found under a porch emaciated with the pads of her paws badly worn and
bleeding. She had been with
Friends of Abandoned Pets
for a couple of weeks before she came out to me for
fostering, during which time she had gained a little weight. She went into the vets for
a check-up and spay before she came out to me. A lump had been found on her shoulder which
they also checked out and found to be a pellet from a bb gun! The vet thinks she is about a
year old. Given all of that she is a loving, trusting little girl. The vet has said she
needs to rest for 10 days and have pain medication. Well she doesn’t approve of this and
just wants to run and play.
- Sunday 17th August
- Chrysler's new family came out with their other dog; the dogs got on great and a match was
made. When it came time, she hoped in the car like she did it every day, they drove off and she
looked very happy and excited. We found it a little harder, she is such an adorable little girl,
we will really miss her.
- Saturday 6th June 2009
- Now knows as Chloe, she is the mascot for the 2009 Annual FOAP Dog Walk! :)
Introducing Izzie Bella and her pups Blue ♂ Lilly and Rosie ♀
- Thursday 19th June
-
Izzie and her 2 little girls, Lilly and Rosie, and little boy, Blue,
came to stay with us until they are ready to find forever homes. Izzie is only about a year old herself,
her pups were born on May 14th.
- Wednesday 2th July
-
Today 3 families came out to meet our little foster family, and great news.
Next Wednesday all 3 pups will be going to their forever families. They are all really nice
people, it is comforting to have met them and know what good homes the puppies will have. Now
we just need a home for Izzie. She is such a lovely girl though I am sure it wont be long.
- Wednesday 9th July
-
All three puppies were collected today by their new forever families. I know they have all gone to
really good homes, but it is always hard. I think I have been very strong – well for me. Really though
I couldn’t feel better about their new families which is such a comfort.
- Friday 11th July
-
Sadly due to circumstances beyond their control Rosie's new family found themselves unable to offer her
the home she needed. So she is back with us for the time being.
- Thursday 17th July
-
Rosie's new forever family came out to meet her and took her home. They are really nice and I am sure she
will be really well loved and looked after.
- Saturday 26th July
-
A new family came out to meet Izzie. We kept our fingers crossed for her, and they called within
a couple of hours to say that they were really taken by her and would like to offer her a home.
She will be being collected next weekend.
- Friday 1st August
-
Izzie's new family came out to collect her, she was very happy to see them and I am sure is going on
to have a great life with a great family.
