I love being outdoors with my camera, I try to capture some of the beauty that I see; this is my space to
share some of my favorites.
"Look at the trees, look at the birds, look at the clouds, look at the stars... and if you have eyes you will be able to see that the whole existence is joyful. Everything is simply happy. Trees are happy for no reason; they are not going to become prime ministers or presidents and they are not going to become rich and they will never have any bank balance. Look at the flowers - for no reason. It is simply unbelievable how happy flowers are. "
There are some subject specific galleries dotted around the site:
If you happen to be someone I went to school (Lord Williams, Thame) with, you might like to check out our
Year 11 photo.
I got my first digital camera in 2000 and since then have taken thousands of photos. I would download
my photos into Photoshop elements and spend hour upon hour lovingly sorting and tagging them, and that
was it. There they would sit, seen by no one.
So I created this gallery so at least some of them would be seen, and then I started my
blog where I regularly take part in Wordless Wednesday and
other photo competitions.
I also stumbled across Photojojo which has some great ideas for
photo projects, and one that really got my attention was Postcrossing
(Photojojo: Get Photo
Postcards From Around the World!), which allows me to share my favourite pictures with people all
over the world. Here's a postcards gallery of the photos
I have used for postcards so far.
Most recently, and again thanks to Photojojo, I discovered
Fotopedia, a photo encyclopaedia that lets
photographers and photo enthusiasts collaborate.
What The Duck is a great photography themed cartoon that I really enjoy.
Here re-printed with permission is a random pick from a small selection of some of my favourites.
If you like them why not go and check out the site yourself.
