Blog mostly about life on our little homestead in Ontario, Canada, where we are raising Shetland sheep, chickens, ducks, geese, quail, amongst others, all under the watchful eye of our Maremma sheepdog. But also about fostering cats and dogs, exploring Ottawa, with maybe a little bird watching, cooking and photography thrown in for good measure!

I don't know! I haven't used any of the stuff I have spun since I learned! I am going to have to start using it soon or risk it taking over the house! :)

I think the only people who don't like Macs own a lot of Microsoft stock! Really, no operating system is perfect, but you have to love one that takes no time to set up and can transfer itself to a new machine with about 3 mouse clicks and a "please go amuse yourself (for 7 hours) while I copy everything from your Mini to your new MacBook completely and seamlessly" and politely introduces itself to new printers without user intervention!

I do not mean to minimize all that happening in those morning hours...
Good karma - the massive tree branch avoided all your major area items - the main one, the house... then your generator and something else Steve mentioned. And altough that amount fo trunk falling on your glass table didn't make one dent or crash.

The sheep exercise trying to get her captured helped your system get some good circulation going, and in the end it all worked out. The unfortunate incident with the ear happened in a lesser critical place, and she didn't seem much worse for ware, She integrated well with the new flock, and after beng sniffed and rubbed by most lambs, she seems to find solace in 'lady 'baba who is without a baby! so maybe this will be a surrugate or at th very least, a new friend.

So, althought with such events there is a tendencies to replay the unfoldings I advice to just look at it as a evaluate what was done, and to consider if an alternate approach should be considered and if not, stay the course... if do - - experience is the best teacher!
Hang in there!
