People & places

December 5th, 2010 by Heidi

I have been rather absent haven’t I! Sorry about that. My mother always said if you can’t say anything nice don’t say anything at all, and I haven’t been in a terribly positive place of late, which makes writing hard, and writing something that isn’t all doom and gloom near impossible.

Bring Change 2 Mind

November 22nd, 2010 by Heidi

I don’t remember how I came across it, but I found the BringChange2Mind website the other day and felt it should be shared as much as possible. Lately the word suicide has been mentioned in the news way too much.

October 1st, 2010 by Heidi

OK, now this post should be about so many things, but my cousin shared this with me and it is AWESOME so I wanted to share it with you, and make sure I had a link to it saved somewhere!

The Headless chicken post!

September 28th, 2010 by Heidi

** Don’t worry the only decapitated chicken in this post is me! **

I think I have mentioned before that without a routine I tend to get a little lost and confused, and that is what has been happening to the blog of late. Since Steve’s big changes, which I promise he will write about soon, our routine has been all over the place.

Grand Opening Celebrations

September 17th, 2010 by Heidi

Tomorrow is the Grand Opening of the Manotick Village Butcher and we are all super excited about it. We will start the celebrations off at 11am with a fabulous cake and naturally the good eats will continue all afternoon with free samples prepared by local celebrity Steph the Grilling Gourmet, who will have pork, beef, chicken, lamb, wild boar and venison on the grill.

Today we had a day trip to Picton for both business and pleasure. Shop business, farm business and fun!
