I grew up in the beautiful rolling hills of Buckinghamshire, England less than half an hour from the town of Aylesbury. While looking through the Rare Breeds Canada website I discovered that Aylesbury ducks are listed as Critical – which means there are less than 100 of them.

So when I spotted an ad for Aylesbury ducks how could I resist?

Do you see how the tail on the right of the picture has curly feathers – that’s the drake – and apparently that’s how you tell. Boys have curly tail feathers!

They really like the paddling pool! We really ought to take all our ducks down and show them there is a real pond!

I love to know what you think so please rate my post or leave me a comment. If you really liked this post maybe you would consider sharing it. Thank you.
