A week ago I found Cullen in with the puppies, I had left him in the field with the rest of the boys. I figured Steve must have moved him and just not said anything. But when he got home from work he was as surprised as I had been!

I grew up in the beautiful rolling hills of Buckinghamshire, England less than half an hour from the town of Aylesbury. While looking through the Rare Breeds Canada website I discovered that Aylesbury ducks are listed as Critical – which means there are less than 100 of them.

If you have stopped by before you may know that we lost both our buff Chantecler roosters early in the summer. While we have been expanding into other breeds of chicken, we do still want to be able to raise pure buff Chanteclers so have been on the lookout for a ‘replacement’.
