Now I had promised you better pictures of Chuck, and I have been trying, but Millie has become rather aggressive in her protective mother routine and I can’t get very close!

The other ladies are also protective of the little man. Fortunately I have a zoom lens!

With her current attitude I am not sure how we are going to progress to milking! But that is only one part of my conundrum ….

… this evening I discovered Hope stealing milk! Chuck had been sleeping, when Millie apparently started feeling a little full. She called to him and he got up and came for dinner. At which point Hope snuck in from behind. Millie didn’t seem thrilled with the idea and tried half heartedly kicking at Hope a couple of times, but she wasn’t really trying very hard to discourage her. I left to find Steve and by the time I returned Hope was off elsewhere and Chuck had finished too.

I am really not sure what to do. Can Millie produce enough milk if Hope is thieving? Will Chuck get enough? Should we separate them? How do I safely approach Millie and convince her that we should get some milk too?

I love to know what you think so please rate my post or leave me a comment. If you really liked this post maybe you would consider sharing it. Thank you.
