The Tour de Fleece has finished, and while there is still roving in my basket I would say it was a resounding success. I spun at least a little bit most every day.

Since the Tour de Fleece began I have plied a huge amount of white Corriedale that was sitting taking up my bobbins, spun all of the dyed roving in my basket and started on another batch of white Corriedale.

Handspun yarn
Now I have built up my confidence I might be ready to try with some of the other fibre in my stash – I have some Coopworth, Blue Faced Leicester, Merino, Alpaca, and of course plenty of Shetland. I am even building up quite a stash of Angora from brushing my rabbits!

I love to know what you think so please rate my post or leave me a comment. If you really liked this post maybe you would consider sharing it. Thank you.

  1. Nice job! Now what are you going to do with all your yarn?

  2. I don’t know! I haven’t used any of the stuff I have spun since I learned! I am going to have to start using it soon or risk it taking over the house! :)
