RuisDair Dougal is for sale!
I mentioned him back in April in my ‘Boys, boys, boys!’ post, when I was still undecided as to what to do with him.
He was born a twin in May 2009, he is a black spotted gulmoget out of Hopeful Maria and KalwaTaure Bertram, and he has the most beautiful fleece. He may carry the brown gene as both sire and dam are BB/Bb.
I would keep him here, but for the sake of varied genetics I really don’t want to breed him. I have to get my numbers down before the winter, which is proving especially tricky this year. Shetland sheep should come with a ‘may be addictive’ warning! From starting off buying six in 2008 I am now having a hard time staying under forty!
Message me if you are interested or would like to meet him. I also still have his sheared fleece from this year if you would like to see it.

I helped roo Dougal and thus may have contributed to saving him from the frypan because I declared his fleece absolutely gorgeous! I wish I could have him as a lawnmower (my current service is sorely lacking!). Think the city would believe he was a dog?
