I just realized that I never did come back after lambing round 1 & round 2 to update you on the final lambing tallies. So better late than never, here it is!
We had three more ewes lamb, all with WillowGarden Garnish being the sire. Windwater Peony had wildly spotted twin ram lambs, one black based, one brown based.
WillowGarden Magda had twins, one was tiny and stillborn, the other a large healthy ram lamb. He is a nice boy, but unfortunately his tail is way too long.
And last but most certainly not least, my first bottle baby Windwater Melody presented me with a very beautiful little katmoget ewe lamb. It was extra special as I got to watch, and everything went as it should, Melody is a fantastic mum, and baby is a really friendly sweetheart. She was a keeper from the first moment I saw her, we are calling her Kara as it means ‘sweet melody’.
The final tally was 16 healthy lambs, with 3 losses; 5 singles, 7 sets of twins; 9 girls, 10 boys. Now begins the process of whittling down our numbers.

Kara looks sweet! Gotta love lambs!
