I had a birthday and just like Eeyore I got two presents, well OK so not really like Eeyore as I got more than two presents, but one of them was held up by ‘snail mail’ and the other required a visit to Canadian Tire so they were a little delayed.
My very good friends Cheryl, Christine & Elizabeth knew that as a beginner I had something of a dearth of knitting needles and that the shawl I was trying to work on was not really going to fit on the needles I had and would need circular needles. So they gave me the most wonderful set of interchangeable circular needles with 9 pairs of needle tips & 4 cables! Which means that I really can complete the shawl I wanted rather than doing just a scarf, and I can start on another project – which I can’t tell you about just now as it is a present!
Our wonderful new neighbours Pat & Louise got me a gift certificate to get a little something for the garden, which we turned into a wonderful hammock chair! So now I have just the place to make the most of the time I spend knitting!
How do you know when your hammock chair is too low? When the grass tickles your bum! (For anyone who thinks like Brent, grass tickling can be felt through trousers!)

Happy Knitting!

No kidding that shawl wouldn’t fit on those 8″ long straights! Heidi was very good to ignore us while we figured out which set to get her right in front of her on Fibre Night. (KnitPicks Options Zepher was what we chose).
