As I mentioned on Sunday, we had the first of the WillowGarden Garnish lambs over the weekend.

Zha zha & her ewe lamb

Single ewe lamb, born Thursday evening from WillowGarden Garnish and Bluff Country Zha Zha Mikaela.

Donna & her ram lamb

Shortly after unloading at the new homestead on Friday afternoon, a single ram lamb from WillowGarden Garnish and WillowGarden Donna Summer.

Maria's twin ewe lambs

Born Saturday 24th, twin ewe lambs from WillowGarden Garnish and Hopeful Maria.

Fava and one of her ewe lambs Fava's other ewe lamb

And another set of twin ewe lambs on Sunday morning from WillowGarden Garnish and WillowGarden Fava.

Including our totals from lambing round 1, we have now had 5 sets of twins and 4 singles; 6 rams, 8 ewes; from 4 different sires (we lost the first born set of twins, a ram and a ewe). We have 5 more ewes that I believe are expecting.

I love to know what you think so please rate my post or leave me a comment. If you really liked this post maybe you would consider sharing it. Thank you.

  2. Ooh, nice colour range. I guess they were just waiting so that they could say the lambs were born in Perth!

  3. Congratulations Heidi. How is Mikaela doing – she looks a bit peaked in the photo?

  4. Tammy, we have had some trouble with our girls being under condition. But Mikaela is doing well, and gaining weight.
