We hate wallpaper!

We really hate wallpaper, especially busy flowery wallpaper. And we had been living with busy, dark, flowery wallpaper up our stairs and hallway for long enough. So over our Christmas holidays (yes three months ago) we started stripping wallpaper.

Cherry & baby update

We have been on such a steep learning curve this year, steeper I think than our first year, and it seems to be getting steeper. Today we had another vet visit. Yesterday we had thought Cherry was picking up, we managed to get her to eat some.

Lamb drama

Earth Hour 2010

This Saturday at 8:30pm people across the globe will be turning off their lights for Earth Hour. Last year we were hosting the inaugural event for Willow’s Rescue, and I must admit I seriously considered doing the same this year, well without it being inaugural, obviously!

A very long day!

We had a second viewing of the cottage last Saturday, the current owners met us there and walked us around the property. It is the most beautiful countryside, I wish I had taken more and better photos to share with you; but I was too busy imagining walking with the dogs, watching the sheep and considering all the perfect picnicking spots. For me the land is so beautiful I wouldn’t care if the house was a shack!

On the move – Again!

Lambing has begun

Yesterday the first I knew of Steve being home from work was him shouting lamb! He had stuck his head in the barn before coming up to the house. We rushed out, him saying Cherry had a lamb.

The Go Green Expo
