This weeks You Capture is ‘love around your home’.
I must admit that I have agonized over this post all week. I could give you a post full of pictures of Steve, my family, cats, dogs, sheep …….. but you already know I love them, and don’t I already find enough excuses to show you pictures of them! You Capture is supposed to be about encouraging you to try something new ….
You may not know how much I love my office, and I certainly don’t often take pictures of it, or play with my pictures as much as I have today.
My office is MY space, it has a door so I can shut out the world, so I can be really alone if I want. Where I can light candles without fear for cats tails. Where there are dragons on the walls (and everywhere else), bookshelves against every wall, knick-knacks and cuddly things.
It contains an eclectic mix of things, representing so many of the things I love. These pictures for me represent who I was and who I am becoming. Where I have been and hopefully where I am going. People, places and things I love; but it is also in itself a place I love.
I would also love to know what you think of my pictures.

Oh, I love the etching! I’ve been playing around with different pictures of mine trying to get a good drawing look. I haven’t had much luck yet!

Gosh, I love MY space too. Unfortunately in our little house, there’s really no place to have *my* space, so my blog on my laptop is pretty much it. But I love it!

I was just thinking about taking pictures of the every day spaces in our home. I should do it!

Oh, it’s so important to have a “my space” and your space seems to be very photogenic- great shots!
This is a great blog- I’m very interested in what you are covering here

Thanks all, glad you enjoyed, I had fun.
@Jill – I have photoshop elements and just used the sketch photocopy effect on it. Simple, but I really like it.

Okay, I can’t hold my tongue. To me it says volumes that the main focal point of the first picture is MY drum carder. Apparently, I am having quite the influence on you. This will NOT help keep me off THE LIST.

@Elizabeth – don’t worry Steve saw the post and didn’t notice the amount of ‘Elizabeth influence’ in the room, he liked the picture that has Scrumpy in it!

Great post – my space is my bedroom, where everything that means anything to me is ~ nowhere else is safe enough
