This weeks You Capture had me all confused, there are so many things that make me happy and that I love to photograph that deciding what to do seemed like an impossible task.
Then it struck me, I write for 3 different blogs, is there any reason that each one couldn’t have a post? I couldn’t think of one, so if this is against the rules or you are bored of me, I am really sorry.
Over at Willow’s Paws & Claws Rescue I am sharing the very happy story of the kittens we rescued from under a tree last summer, and over on the Circle of Friends blog network I wrote a post about walking to the pub! But here in my virtual home I wanted to share with you the story of my Happy Place – our physical home.
At the end of March 2008 we bought our beautiful farm, Ruis Dair Homestead …
… we got some Chantecler chickens, Shetland Sheep and Muscovy ducks …
… we dug a new vegetable garden and got a livestock guardian puppy …
… we survived the winter …
… and here you will find us loving the lifestyle …
… with cats in our shopping bags!
I actually keep a page detailing our population statistics, which I update at the beginning of every month, if you want to know more about how our population went from 16 to the current total of 126 (the highest was 170)!

Wow you had a population of 170 – that’s a lot of mouths to feed! Those chicks and lambs are super cute!
