You may have read my post back in October about my beautiful new-to-me free piano. The only flaw in my plan for a free piano was that it needed tuning, and that isn’t free or even cheap!
I knew that there was no spare money for piano tuning, any more than there had been for the piano itself. Then I had an idea, and a little hope. I sent out some emails offering a trade of services and was thrilled to hear back from Kaz.
Kaz is a piano tuner based in Manotick, which isn’t terribly far from us, who didn’t have a web site.
We traded services, and now I have a lovely tuned and repaired piano and Kaz has a website!
Now I have no excuse not to practice!

How perfect for both of you! I love bartering….

Kaz is my piano tuner too. He really knows his stuff! Maybe we can play a duet someday

I’ll be singing with Kaz on Sunday. The Manotick Brass are playing at Knox Presbyterian in Manotick (6:30 if you’d like to join us!) and our choir is singing a Canata. Kaz is very nice, he tunes our church pianos, too, even the badly designed one that can’t seem to hold a tune in a bucket he can usually convince to behave for at least a little while. And he plays trumpet very well, too.
