Flicker’s Lair Blog

I have been busy in the last couple of days updating the photography gallery section, and sorting through old photographs to add to the gallery and to a new site called Fotopedia that I found recently.

Fotopedia is “a photo encyclopedia that lets photographers and photo enthusiasts collaborate and enrich images to be useful for the whole world wide web”. It is also a good way of sharing photos, and getting your photos seen by more people. When you add a photo you can nominate it to be associated with a Wikipedia article; a nominated photo needs five votes before it is officially a part of the encyclopedia.

Here are a few pictures that are either a part of the Flicker’s Lair gallery or that I have added to Fotopedia.

Of course Thursday is ‘You Capture’ day over on I should be folding laundry and as it happens this week is ‘Photographer’s Choice!’, and although these are old photos I haven’t published them on the blog before, so I figure I am just stretching the rules a little!

I am also taking part in ‘Give Me Your Best Shot!’ for the first time, again these being old pics means I am stretching the rules a little, and I can’t choose which one is my ‘best shot’, but I promise I will try to do better next week!
