This isn’t a Thanksgiving post, we are north of the border and celebrated that a month and a half ago. But this is a Thankful post as the theme of this months photo competition over on Wine on the keyboard is “I’m thankful for…”
It couldn’t be a person or an animal, so I started thinking (dangerous I know) …… and this weeks You Capture is Food …. and I am very thankful for my rather dwindling store of English chocolate.
Cadbury’s Dairy Milk is made to a different recipe on this side of the ocean, and apparently with powdered milk instead of full cream milk. In my opinion the stuff here is not edible.
No Jelly babies were hurt in the making of this picture!

Gotta love a good sweet!

Thank YOU for the chocolate. I kept in my purse and it lasted about 3-4 days. It was divine.

Hmmm…you make me want to try the “true” Cadbury chocolate, because I like their chocolate here pretty well (although I rarely have Cadbury outside of Easter time).

Oh I am so with you on that sentiment!!!
I am from Ireland originally and cannot believe the Cadbury’s here…I think the Irish ones are even better than the British ones LOL !!!
