Sadly this post isn’t about a recipe, although that does sound rather tasty!

Yesterday morning we went out to open the barn and I was counting sheep just to make sure of where everyone was, I shouted to Steve “It’s obviously too early for me as I just got to 24!”, so I counted again and got 24. At which point we both started paying attention …

… and realised that Snap Dragon was still delivering the afterbirth! This precious dark brown little ewe lamb takes our count to 8, 5 girls and 3 boys!

Our asparagus is really getting going now, I forgot to harvest yesterday and didn’t I know about it today! We are selling the excess, so if you are in the area and like farm fresh asparagus, get in touch.
