We shared home-made, home-grown asparagus soup, hot chocolate and smores with 18 people, and raised over $170. Considering we only decided to hold this event a few weeks ago and had done minimal advertising we are really pleased with our beginning. He is doing well. The progress is slow so there isn’t often anything to ‘write home about’, but it is progress. Aspen has been getting better with me, but is still terribly afraid of Steve, to the point that if Steve tries to get him out of his crate or put a leash on him he pees.
