Chrysler

July 25th, 2008 by Heidi

Chrysler was found under a porch emaciated with the pads of her paws badly worn and bleeding. She had been with Friends of Abandoned Pets for a couple of weeks before she came out to me for fostering, during which time she had gained a little weight. She went into the vets for a check-up and spay before she came out to me. A lump had been found on her shoulder which they also checked out and found to be a pellet from a bb gun! The vet thinks she is about a year old. Given all of that she is a loving, trusting little girl. The vet has said she needs to rest for 10 days and have pain medication. Well she doesn’t approve of this and just wants to run and play.

We hadn’t even realised there was a possibility that Snap Dragon was pregnant, but there she was with this most precious little bundle!
